Dypitch Project

Shoe Finder

   The Bully

The Matrix
For The Matrix pictures, the idea was to have someone throwing a ball in one picture, and the next was someone dodging it. Overall I like this picture but I feel like there could have been improvements. The main idea for The Bully was that she was sitting on the chair and then when she went to go sit down, the chair was pulled out from under her, and she'll sit alone pouting on the floor. Again I feel like the first picture she could have looked less posed for sitting. Lastly my favorite one was the Shoe Finder, this is my favorite because this came out the way that I wanted. I just wish that I had more shoes for her to choose from.

Object Series

My idea was to show all the differnt color of the nail polish. I tried to get pictures of two nail polishes spilling into a circle and make a swirl pattern, but it didn't come out the way that I had pictured it. I did capture what I had wanted for this project, but not exactly the way that I had seen it.

Surrealism Project

I chose to do this for my project because this is an ongoing problem today. The idea was that there are hurdles and life, and even though they are going to be hard, you can get over them. In the beginning, you are getting teased and called names, and you think that it’s never going to end and that it’s going to go on and on. You realize that they’re just names, you can overcome them and with new name, you’ll get stronger not weaker. After you overcome these hurdles you can jump into a new chapter in your life and still be strong in the end. Focus on what you are, and not what everyone else says you are.

Surrealistic

For my surrealistic photograph, I’m going to do me jumping over hurdles. The hurdles are going to symbolize my life. Being I’m in track and my event is hurdles, I figured that this would be a good picture to do.
-I’m going to have all different view of the hurdles and me symbolizing the stages of life. I’ll be jumping over the hurdles, in the beginning and that’s all they’ll be are hurdles, then later on as I go through them, they’ll become objects, and sayings and people. The hurdles that are everything but ,will symbolize the struggle I’ve been through in life and me jumping over them is me conquering the hard times in life and moving on. At the end of the hurdles will be a finsish line, this is me saying that I can get through the rough patches of life, and that i'll be fine when they end.

Surrelistic Artist

On Friday April 13,1984 a boy by the name of Martin Stranka came into the world. He grew up in the city of Litomerice, Czech Republic. As he grew older, he taught himself how to photograph. Never did he study photogaphy, he taught himself everything he knows today. Stranka has recieved over thirty international awards since 2007.

Artist's Name: Martin Stranka

Title of Artwork: With All My Lies

Date of Work: December 16, 2010

Description: A person stands in the dark holding two different faces one on top of the other , hiding who they really are . They are constantly changing themselves.

Interpretation: Although a simple picture, this picture says so much. To me, it's saying that this person is hiding who they really are with someone they maybe wish to be. They want to be someone they're not.
Judgement: Over all I think this picture is very successful in the fact that with one shot, he captured many different emotions.

Analysis: The lighting in the photo is what makes it. With the contrast from dark to light, it puts all your focous on the many faces of the person.

Ben Goosens was born on September 23 in Belgium. Ever since he was sixteen years old, he has been interested in photography. When he graduated high school, he went on to complete four years of art school. For thirty- five years, he was an art director in Belgium.

Artist's Name: Ben Goossens

Title of Artwork: Here It Stope For Most Of Us.

Description: People follow what the world has set for you, they stop when they're told to. When it's your time, where ever you are, is where it stops.

Inerpretation: My interpretation of this picture is that, this man has lived his life, he lived it doing what he loves, riding his bike. His time has come where he cannot ride anymore. His time is up, it's time for him to go.

Judgment: Overall, this picture was successful.

Analysis: This piece is very detailed and you can tell he's going down a bumpy road, the detail in the road is cracked and he's upset because the sign says no bikes. The emotion in this picture is clear because the clouds cast a dark shadow over the image.

Shadows.

Just by flipping this picture it changed the feeling of it. Originally it was just a girl walking down the road, hands swinging next to her. After flipping it, now it looks like a girl walking away holding her face crying. Her hair gives you the illusion of arms. In reality, her arms are by her side and her hair sits on her shoulders.

Hockney

I chose these pictures to do for Hockney project because, for the landscape I love the way it came out because everything falls together the way that I pictured it. For the portrait I chose this picture because it was a simple picture, and there wasn't a lot going on in the background.

Recreate Your Childhood

I chose this picture to recreate because, this is my favorite photo of the two of us. I do like the outcome of the picture I think that it shows that we can still be kids when we want to be.

Portrait Series

I chose to do this as my Portrait Series because, it's not the normal. It may not be the most interesting series that there has ever been, but I liked that it shows what I am about. Soccer. I chose not to use my face because soccer is not about who you are. This picture has all different angels that it has been taken in. For me photography is what inpsires me, the sunsets, the random cloud shapes, the beach etc. I love to take pictures because each picture has a different story behind it.

It's Like Talking to A Wall

I picked this picture because it shows the detail and the cracks in the bricks and makes that the entire focus of the picture and it blurs out the entire back, which I love.

Snow Day

I like how this picture has other objects in it except the snow on the bush, I like how I got a little bit of the American Flag hanging down into the snow.

Artistic Inspiration.

This is a perfect picture. It shows the fear in the monkey's eyes, it is  saying that animals don't have voices to help them when they're in need.
Kip Evans
I love in this picture how the sky looks dark and the waves are crashing so intensely, it’s amazing that he could catch all that detail and emotion in this picture.
Manhattan on Fire
- Unknown
This is a beautiful picture because it actually does look like Manhattan is on Fire, when really it was a snow storm with the clouds moving in as the sun was rising.

I love this picture because there is a lot going on behind it, and the sailor kiss just makes the picture.
